Trip to Maine Part One

Mary's brother, Jim, and I went on a seven day motor trip to Northern Maine to visit my brother David.

On the first day we stayed in Bucksport, near Bar Harbor where we spent a couple of hours.
On the way we stopped for lunch and I had a crab cake on the restaurant porch.

so I planted my magnificent new foxglove plant.

Rain, rain, go away!

It is June 29th, another sunless day with light rain and 60s temperatures.
The beautiful new pool remains unused the entire month of June.

The garden, however, is thriving nicely.

The weather

My garden is beautiful.
The pool looks so inviting.
Mother nature isn't cooperating.

Ooh look, the temperature is going all the way up to 72 on Wednesday! And no rain!
