Columbus Day Parade

Jim and I went to the Columbus Day Parade in East Boston.

There were marching bands,

Horses,

automobiles,

A man on a Segway

Colonial soldiers,

Men in kilts,

Tigger

Mickey Mouse

and, the Latin American contingent

There were many more participants including

Vintage cars

Fire engines

Military Vehicles

Dance Clubs

Shriners Clowns

Sons of Italy floats

the Red Hat Society

local politicians.

The weather was gorgeous, cloudless skies and mild temperatures.

The parade lasted about two and a half hours

and it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Oh yes, and a special visitor for the kids.
